What Difference does Purity of Glucan make?

Our factory, which turns out huge volumes of this compound, may yield a material that is just a few percentile (maybe 4% or 5%) different in its purity and potency. That may equate to a requirement of 6 to 8 times more the dose; thus, if you’ve got a product that’s out there under Brand X, Y, or Z; even though it comes from the same factory, you will have to take at least six times the dose to rival the efficacy of Transfer Point. There are a lot of companies out there getting the second cut, the third cut, the fourth cut, or fifth cut or whatever; they may still outperform a lot of products but they still do no hold a candle to the transfer point brand.

It is important. Most of all, you get more product for your bucks if you have it pure, because one question is “how much is there.” If you say 100 mg, 100 mg of 50% pure glucan is a different amount than 80% pure. Also we have to imagine that the glucan, when we take it from the yeast cell wall, it’s major function in the cell wall is basically to make it stronger, it is a little bit like the bars in concrete. If we take it out, we try to get only the bars but bunches of concrete are still there if you have only 50% or 60% of purified glucan, there is still a lot of concrete around. The cells, with all the garbage around cannot really recognize glucan inside. If you have pieces of cell wall, you do not the purified product. It’s not recognized by the cells, it doesn’t bind right to the cell membrane and it doesn’t do what it is supposed to do.

No, it’s kind of type generally thinking, which almost everybody starts to think. We did a lot of studies trying to either prove it or disprove it and it just doesn’t work. If you have bad glucan or low quality glucan, it doesn’t matter how much you take. You can take a by the spoonful and you still won’t get the type of reaction of the high quality glucan.
